    Yeah.
    It is an awesome album.
Very atmospheric and pretty heavy at times.

And low tuned guitars. Did I mention the low tuned guitars? Perfect for this kind of music.

I haven't given it a full listen yet but I liked the single and I'm a big fan of everything else they've done so I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

Anyone got an idea how the opening riff in ultima necat is played?
    Is it octaves or something?
    Or through a harmonizer?

It is re-occurring several times in the album and I like it.

It’s when you power chord for example 2nd string on 5th fret and the 4th string on 7th fret and mute the 3rd string and do some riffing like that, that’s how I do it anyway :)
I hope that’s what you meant and I’m not off on a tangent

    It's all good, man.

I did know what oktaves are but I wasn't sure if this is what is acutally played there.
It sounds kinda ovktavey but somehow weird.

I think part of that sound comes from the low, low tuning and we're just not all that used to hearing octaves in the low range of a seven string with LOWER stuff along with it. I think they really maximized the use of that lower tuning on this new one instead of just playing regular old drop riffs but in a low tuning.

Loving it so far. First record was stupidly heavy, but got boring rather quickly to me as it seemed they only had that one trick up their sleeves, play some heavy, low, slow riffs and then reduce the tempo, second was a bit more varied but didn't really grab me, this one however... oh yeah! :D
