Another EP Snippet! [Unfinity, Axe FX 2, Superior, 8 String, C0 Content)

So here is my second preview from the demos of my upcoming EP 'Unfinity; for those of you following - or considering following

This is a part from the latter half of the middle section, some of you may note some familiarities to other work of mine which is a bit of a clue. That said there are still parts missing as I don't wanna give up all the gold at once.

If I can get 100 followers on SoundCloud or 50 on Facebook I'll release another clip, until then its back to the desk!

For everyone now following, that's 99 I'm up to now, guess I'm gunna have to pick another clip to post sooner than I thought haha. Thanks for giving me the time and tuning in, really cool.

@loxodrome the bass is my Warwick Corvette $$ 4 (3 as it happens) tuned B0E1B1 (+E2 if there were a 4th string lolol) with skanky old strings on. I use bridge plus neck split with the blend slightly towards the neck, lots of treble boost on the bass cos of dead strings.
That then goes Axe 2 into SV Bass + SV810 for lows and a Recto into recto cab for distortion, panned left and right (on the axe) and blended in Logic. Lots of compression on the clean low end, no 500Hz to be found, a bit of boosting around 5K for the high end distortion and basically everything else cut out.
I then mix the drums, then match bass to kick so neither overpowers the other, bass should rumble along the but kick punch through - as it happens this recording's a little subtle on bass's low end.
I then mix guitars to bass.

EDIT: Forgot to add, that's 104 followers now, which is amazing! As promised I'll be posting another clip, I'm gunna rerecord the clip with AFX2 v10 to demo that and also do two versions for an Aftermath vs D Activator 8 comparison (with DI's!) probably get it out Sunday or Monday.
