    Slight de-rail, is 'Agape':

    adjective: a·gape: əˈɡāp/
    1. (of the mouth) wide open, especially with surprise or wonder.
"Downes listened, mouth agape with incredulity"
    Or:

    noun: a·ga·pe äˈɡäˌpā,ˈaɡəpā/
    1. Christian love, especially as distinct from erotic love or emotional affection.
      • a communal meal in token of Christian fellowship, as held by early Christians in commemoration of the Last Supper.

It's the latter, but it could work both ways. ;) When I first heard the term, it was framed as unconditional, self-sacrificial love. I've always thought the world could use more of that kind of thing.
Plus, that pronunciation rolls off the tongue a bit better, ya know?

I love you man, but not in an unconditional, self-sacrificial way.

I remember that now. Unfortunately, when I googled "ah-gah-pey", all that came-up were the religiious definitions. Considering the origin is Greek, it really shouldn't have a christian tie-in
