    (PC power !)

Hum..not "a bad choice", you can prefer a thick sound, according to your rig (with a bright amp, it could be good and well balanced^^) and styles you play.

Juggs are pretty balanced. Personnaly, I love Lundgren M8's because their articulation and a very tight low end..but, and I think nobody can say I'm wrong, our perception is personal.
I can love a type of sound that you'll hate, and vice versa !

Yes I really like thick, organic et warm sounds, so that why I like dark tones, Im always complaining about sounds to be too aggressive with harsh highs..

What set of pickups should I choose?
    Here is the total list:
    - ragnarok set
    -aftermath set
    - juggernaut set
-juggernaut set + the mule neck
    - nailbomb set
    - nailbomb + vhII neck

This is a good list, but overall metal-djent oriented no ?

I don't want the sound to be cold and lifeless, (even if fingers and amp are a part of the tone I know)
    that's why Im lost :(

Why don't you ask Tim (Bare Knuckle) about your needs ?
He answers ASAP and all his advices are interesting :)

Already contacted Ben French, but even with their advices, it s still hard to get a choice...

According to the tonal spectrum we see on each BKP pickup, I think I'm gonna choose either Juggernaut set or Nailbomb set...

I'd say go nailbombs or black dogs. juggernauts are great if you want the vocal esque/cocked wah voicing that misha loves but otherwise I'd say stay away from them. They take some work to get them to sound mean and aggressive, and on an 8 string they have a kind of tubby low end. They do have really nice cleans and a nice lead tone though. aftermaths are extremely dry sounding with ok cleans, and they have these metallic clanky mids that are great for djenty stuff but terrible for a lot of other genres. easily the least versatile pickup out of the bunch and the coldest sounding.

I had aftermath on my basswood rg, and yeah, it sounded too "present", too medium sounding or I dunno, but these BKP weren't my cup of tea :D

I fear the Juggs to be the same and to have a "flat" thin and cold lead sound in neck...

Try not to overthink it. Pickups are pretty easy to swap once you get the guitar in your hands and plugged in. At that point, you'll know what you're dealing with tonally from the wood and hardware side.

It's so easy to get wrapped around the axle with this stuff when you can customize everything. If you stick to classic combos it likely won't suck. :D

YEs but I've often been disappointed when I tried something, so that s why I'm hesitating :)
    Juggs or Nailbombs... :)

I've got a regius 8 with Aftermaths and another with Juggalos and I prefer the Juggajuggs. Better cleans, a little bit tighter on high gain. Definitely would describe them as "bright" pickups though, if you're looking for warmth you might be better off with something else. Dunno if you've already tried 'em but I really like the Seymour Duncan Pegasus/Sentient set for 8 strings, nice and warm without the fizzy high end you get with the Nazgul set.

    Thanks Jeph'!

I chose the final specs and I'm going to try the Juggernauts...
ITs good to take risks sometimes :)

With the dark character of the guitar, I think the Juggs will be a good choice! :)

I hope the Juggernauts will be great with my specs!
