Description: Its been a while since I posted a big trade ad in the forums, but I’m ready to switch my collection up in a serious way. I’m primarily looking for guitars and basses, but I also have a serious need for some good studio/recording gear, including a keyboard/midi controller, a good computer (gaming rigs, and high end parts also welcome), something like a Kemper or Axes Fx, maybe some high decent amps, and Acoustic instruments (acoustic guitar, violin, mandolin, etc.). I’m easy to deal with, so please do not be shy! Message me if you have any ideas whatsoever. As opposed to copying and pasting the sale/trade format over an over again, I'm modifying it a bit to fit the ad.

Accessories: Most have hardshell cases, a few have gig bags.

    Location: Mt. Pleasant, PA

International OK?: Yes, unless a guitar has Rosewood, in which case I'll ship it to a friend of yours in the US that is willing to handle the CITES paperwork.

    Contact: PM or e-mail: adamofangels@gmail.com

References: Tons from this site, rig talk, the gear page, jemsite, Reverb, Facebook, etc.

Price: Primarily looking for trades - although I'm open to basically everything, special attention goes to:

    Suhr
    Anderson
    PRS
Fender (serious Tele fever right now - the more Western the better)
    Aristides
    Strandberg
    Mayones
    Knaggs
    Parker
    Jackson/Charvel
ESP (especially USA and Custom Shop)

PRS SE Mark Holcomb Sig - Holcomb Burst - 9.8/10 condition

    Mahogany Body
    Quilted Maple Veneer
    Maple Neck
    Bound Ebony Fretboard
    25.5" Scale Length
    Seymour Duncan "Alpha"/"Omega" Set

One of the most popular guitars from PRS today, and probably the most popular SE. The satin neck and 25.5" scale length is a welcome modification on a PRS, even if fairly ordinary on other guitars, as is the fixed hardtail type bridge. You might find a few minor scratches/marks on this one, but its very clean for the most part.

    $800

Peavey USA Wolfgang Special - Gold - 8.5/10 condition

    Basswood Body
    Maple Neck and Fretboard
    22 Frets
    25.5” Scale
    Floyd Rose

This is the flat-top, slightly more affordable variant of the Wolfgang. Aside from a few very minor imperfections, it’s in really decent shape.

    $900

2015 Gibson Les Paul Special DC - Sunburst - 9.7/10 condition

    Mahogany Body and Neck
    Rosewood Fretboard
    Slim Taper Neck Profile
    24.75" Scale Length
    Adjustable Zero Fret
    P-90 Pickups
    Wraparound Bridge

    G Force Automated Tuning System

A slightly odd addition to the Les Paul family (along with a few other LP's from the 2015 lineup), but an ultimately solid, addictive workhorse of a guitar. Perfect feeling neck, very lightweight/resonant, stays in tune very well (not even accounting for the robo-tuners, which also work really well), looks good. Its been well cared for and doesn't show any wear.

    $1000

    PRS S2 SC-250 - Gold - 9.7/10 condition

    Mahogany Body and Neck
    Maple Top
    Rosewood Fretboard
    25” Scale Length
    Locking Tuners
    PRS Pickups

Basically a more affordable, but no less awesome, workhorse version of PRS’ SC-250. Some players even prefer this body style to the original - it’s definitely cool, and comfortable. If I’m not mistaken, the color is Vintage Gold, and the bridge pickup may have been swapped out. Gig bag included.

    $1100

Composite Acoustics OX - Blue - 9.9/10 Condition

    Carbon Fiber Body and Neck
    Composite Fretboard
    LR Baggs Acoustic Pickup
    Onboard EQ

I tuned this guitar in like August or September, it was subjected to a few climate changes, and its still perfectly in tune. But aside from making for a perfectly reliable guitar, somehow the carbon fiber SOUNDS amazing. It doesn't have the bassy warmth that a lot of acoustics have, but I'll be damned if it doesn't sound better than most I can think of anyway. I guess its a matter of design.

    $1500

Fender Eric Johnson Strat - Sunburst - 9/10 condition

    Alder Body w/ '57 Contours
    Maple Neck and Fretboard
    1 21/32" Nut Width
    25.5" Scale
    Eric Johnson Pickups
    Vintage Tremolo

This is a 2005, making it one of the originals. Lauded by a lot of folks as the best Strat in the production lineup, its basically a spin on the AVRI '57 Reissue, but nearly everything is tweaked to some degree. This one has been played, but not abused, so it does have a handful of very tiny, minor imperfections when you look closely. Tweed Hardshell case included.

    $1500

    Ibanez Prestige ARZ-6UC Uppercut - 9.8/10 condition

    Mahogany Body
    Maple Top
    Mahogany and Maple 3-Piece Neck
    Ebony Fretboard
    25.5” Scale
    24 Frets
    Locking Tuners
    BKP Nailbomb Pickups

The most unique (for Ibanez) Prestige ever produced, and a serious contender among Les Paul types. In my opinion, the build quality on this (along with the rest of the more recent setneck Prestiges) is a shoulder above the Prestiges I’m used to, and I’m already a huge fan of Ibanez in general. The neck joint is perfect, the profile is perfect, the tone is full and heavy, and it’s hard to look away from.

    $2000

Music Man JPXI - 9.6/10 condition

Alder Body w/ Mahogany Tone Block
    Maple Top
    Maple Neck
    Ebony Fretboard
    20" Radius
    Stainless Steel Frets
    Music Man Tremolo
    Piezo
    Locking Tuners
    Dimarzio Liquifire/Crunch Lab Pickups

This model, alone with the JPX, is my favorite Music Man, let alone Petrucci signature. Aside from a tiny indentation on the edge of the headstock, its super clean.

    $2000

TMG Ronnie Scott Telemaster - Antique Sunburst - 9.9/10 condition

    Swamp Ash Body
    Maple Neck
    Indian Rosewood Fretboard
    Medium C Profile
    10” Radius
    Duesenberg Neck Pickup
    TMG Slider 52 Bridge Pickup

I have no experience with TMG outside of this guitar, but it’s as good as that of any of the other vintage-style American builders I’ve been across. It is what it looks like - a cross between a Jazzmaster and a Tele, though it’s a bit more of a Tele. Unbelievably good tone from this thing - I’ve been a bit obsessed with twangy surf/spaghetti tones lately, and this thing nails it. It also, not surprisingly, works perfectly for blues and even jazz stuff.

    $2200

    Ibanez Jem 7vsbl - Blue Sparkle - 9/10 condition

    Alder Body
    Basswood Top (Veneer)
    Maple Neck
    Rosewood Fretboard
    Scalloped Frets From 21 - 24
    Lo-Pro Edge Bridge
    Dimarzio Evolution Pickup Set

These were made from 2002 - 2004, with only the 2002 (which is what this is) has the LP-Pro (which is preferable, according to many). You almost never see these pop up for sale anymore, so if you’re a Jem fan, you need this, and if you’re an Ibanez fan, you probably also need this. There’s some very minor signs of wear and aging, but nothing serious. It comes in the old school, red-lined Universe case, which has a broken latch, but is still totally functional.

    $2200

Music Man Luke II BFR - 9.8/10 condition

    Alder Body
    Rosewood Neck and Fretboard
    12'' Radius
    25" Scale Length
    Locking Tuners
    Music Man Tremolo
    EMG Pickups

Not only is this an exceptionally clean Luke II, which is no longer in production, and fairly difficult to find these days to begin with, but its from a limited run featuring a solid Rosewood Neck. This alone is worth the price of admission. Super versatile guitar - don't let the active pickups scare you.

    ESP Custom Shop GL-F - 9.8/10 condition

    Mahogany Body
    Maple Neck
    Rosewood Fretboard
27” Scale (but with standard fret spacing)
    EMG Bridge, ESP Neck Pickup

This is a super rare George Lynch baritone Forest model built in the Japanese Custom Shop. However, if baritone scale lengths scare you, this one is completely different - the fret spacing is exactly the same as a 25.5” scale neck, but the bridge is moved farther back to create the extended scale length. So, it feels exactly like a standard scale guitar, only you get the tension of a baritone. Though there is a neck Pickup, only the bridge Pickup is wired up at the moment - easily reversible if necessary (was just a matter of preference). Again, these are extremely rare, and it’s difficult to find information on them, let alone actually find one. Conditionwise, it’s either Mint, or so close that I really can’t tell the difference - you may find a very faint polishing swirl or surface scratch at the right angle.

Music Man Steve Morse Custom - 9.9/10 condition

    Poplar Body
    Figured Maple Neck
    Bound Rosewood Fretboard
    Locking Tuners
    P-90 Pickups

I wish I could tell you the exact specifications of this guitar - all I know is that its a one-of-a-kind built for an endorsee/artist. I'm not even sure that the body is Poplar, and I don't know who made the P-90's (though I supposed I could pull the pick guard and check them out if you were curious). All I know is that the neck on this thing is absolutely amazing, and it sounds incredible. I've never played another Morse, so I don't know what to compare it to, but I do know it blew me down the first time I sat down with it. This model never has block inlays, or P-90's, just to be sure. Its super clean, with no apparent flaws of any kind.

ESP Custom Shop M-II NTB - Trans Red - 9.7/10 condition

    Mahogany Body Wings
    Maple Neck-Through Design
    Ebony Fretboard
    EMG Active Pickups
    Original Floyd Rose Tremolo

This is a full on Custom Shop build from ESP, and will stand shoulder to shoulder with whatever you can think to throw at it. There are a few very minor marks, but overall, its been babied. The color looks way darker in the pictures than it really is - you can easily see the woodgrain in person.

ESP Custom Shop Page Hamilton Horizon - Brushed Silver - 9.5/10 condition

    Alder Body
    Maple Neck
    Ebony Fretboard
    Sperzel Locking Tuners
    Wilkinson Tremolo
    Sustainiac Neck
    BKP Aftermath Bridge

Rare as can be, and one of the coolest models ESP has ever produced. It’s essentially just a Horizon with a Wilkinson and a single-cool sized pickup in the neck position. The finish is really stunning - it looks like brushed aluminum, so I’m not sure how they accomplished that exactly, but my pictures do it little justice. As anyone that has played a Custom Shop ESP will tell you, the quality is top of the food chain, so you can’t go wrong. The pickups have been upgraded from Dimarzios to a BKP and a Sustainiac. Conditionwise, there’s some super minor wear that you have to look closely to find, but it’s been well cared for.

PRS Singelcut Artist - Royal Blue - 9.5/10 condition

    Mahogany Body
    Artist Grade Quilted Maple Top
    Mahogany Neck
    Macassar Ebony Fretboard
    Wide-Fat Neck Profile
    25” Scale
    BKP Stormy Monday Pickups
    PRS Tremolo

PRS’ modern Artist package allows you to customize their core models with a variety of high grade woods and colors not available on the core models otherwise. Several years ago, though, an artist package included higher grade tops, abalone inlays, a higher grade fretboard with matching headstock overlay,, gold hardware, and, arguably, overall better quality. Oh, and a fancy leather hardshell case, which this does indeed come with. This one has been upgraded with a set of BKP pickups, and has a really minor clear coat nick on the top, with maybe some super minor wear that’s evading detection as far as I’m concerned.

    $2800

Fender Custom Shop Postmodern Journeyman Strat - Vintage Yellow - 9.9/10 condition

    Alder Body
    AA Flame Maple Neck
    AAA Rosewood Fretboard
    1963 C Neck Profile
    9.5” - 12” Compound Radius Fretboard
    Bone Nut
    6100 Jumbo Frets
Fender Fat 50’s Neck, Fat 50’s Reverse Polarity Middle, and Shawbucker Bridge Pickup Set

A hybrid of classic and modern specs - in some sense, it’s like a vintage body, with a modern neck and a humbucker. Amazing guitar in every way. The color is a bolder and darker yellow than my pictures let on. All case candy is included.

    $3000

    Mayones Legend 7 - 9.7/10 condition

    African Mahogany Body
    Curly Koa 5A Grade Top
    Ebony Fretboard
    Maple Set-Neck w/ Mahogany Stripes
Gloss Top and Matte Finish Backside
    Lundgren M7 Pickups
    Stainless Steel Extra Jumbo Frets
    20" Radius
    3mm Luminlay Glow-in-the-Dark Side Dots
    Hipshot Dridge
    Locking Duners

For whatever reason, this model is the least photogenic guitar I can think of, but I assure you, it looks amazing in person. Its essentially just a singlecut version of the Regius, which is a good thing, as the Regius is a perfect design in my book. The neck is one of the best 7 string necks I've ever played, its very clear and aggressive in the low end, and has a lot of chime in the mid-highs. Conditionwise, there might be the slightest mark or two somewhere on it, but I can't find anything.

    Aristides 080 - Distressed Green/Black - 9.9/10 condition

    Arium Body and Neck
    Richlite Fretboard
    Stainless Steel Frets
    Hipshot Griplock Tuners
    Hipshot Bridge
    BKP Aftermath Pickup
    Coil-Splitting Volume Knob

Custom order 080 with a unique finish and set of options. Although a little strange, it somehow all comes together and looks amazing in person. The Aftermath pickup is fairly versatile, especially with the coil splitt, so the lack of a neck pickup doesn’t leave quite as much to be desired as it does on other single-pickup guitars.

    Aristides 060 - Black - 9.8/10 condition

    Arium Body and Neck
    Richlite Fretboard
    Stainless Steel Frets
    Hipshot Griplock Tuners
    Hipshot Bridge
BKP Cobra Neck, Warpig Bridge Pickups

Somehow, even though these are fully synthetic, they’re some of the most resonant and acoustically loud electrics on the market. But, I think the hype around them has to do with the neck, which is perfect on this one. Super fast, super smooth, and hard too put down. The pickups are really high output, but clean up in the most shocking way There’s a few surface scratches, seeing as how gloss black is next to impossible to keep spotless, but it’s overall in excellent condition.

    Aristides 050 - Poison Ivy - 9.9/10 condition

    Arium Body and Neck
    Richlite Fretboard
    34” Scale
    12” Radius
    Stainless Steel Frets
    Hipshot Griplock Tuners
    Hipshot Bridge
    Seymour Duncan Pickups

In the same way that their guitars are unexpectedly amazing sounding and perfect players, Aristides’ basses are the be-all-end-all when it comes to roadworthy basses. It won’t go out of tune due to warpage, and is finally clear everywhere across the fretboard. This one in particular is done in a custom ordered color,.

    Arium Body and Neck
    Richlite Fretboard
    Stainless Steel Frets
    Hipshot Griplock Tuners
    Hipshot Bridge
    Fishman Pickups

This was the first guitar Aristides made in this color, and is as awesome as it looks in every other way. I can’t say enough good about these guitars. If you want a 24 fret, do-it-all workhorse that is virtually weather proof and looks amazing, there’s no other option - this is it.

Mayones Regius Core - Trans Black - 9.8/10 condition

    Flamed Maple Top
    Maple, Mahogany, Amazakoe, Wenge Neck
    Ebony Fretboard
    Hipshot Bridge
    Hipshot Griplock Tuners
    Seymour Duncan Pickups

Mayones has been my favorite builder since I first played one 5 or so years ago. The necks are perfect, quality control is unparalleled, the designs are perfect (in my opinion), and they’re super reliable. This is the newest iteration of the Regius, with a carved top and a slightly different heel.

    Ebony Fretboard
    Original Floyd Rose Tremolo
    PRS \m/ Metal Pickups

This is the model that everybody wanted for years - a PRS 24 with a Floyd.. this one is in sreally good shape, with only some super minor surface scratches from regular use.

408 Switching (allows for 8 different combinations)
    Locking Tuners
    PRS Tremolo
    Red to Black Fade Finish

    $3800

My pictures don't do this finish enough justice - easily one of the best looking PRSi I've been across. Aside from some superficial polishing swirls, it's exceptionally clean.

    PRS Custom 24 30th Anniversary Artist - Red Tiger - 9/10 condition

    Mahogany Body
    One-Piece Artist Grade Top
    Artist Grade Flamed Maple Neck
    Ebony Fretboard
    PRS 85/15 Pickups

You can’t really get a higher quality PRS without going to through their Private Stock Team, and even then it would be a difference in specification me more than anything. The top is a one piece Artist Grade flame and looks absolutely crazy in person. The color is a lot richer and red’er in person as well. **Please beware that my pictures exaggerate the imperfections significantly, and in person they're hardly noticeable. The only flaws are: a bit of clearcoat pimpling in the top... I’m not sure how to describe it, but I’ve seen it on other PRSi, you can only see it in direct light at the right angle, and only barely - I’m guessing it could be buffed out by a competent hand. And, on the bottom side there’s some clear coat chippped away in one spot. Almost looks like a scuff more than anything.

PRS Custom 24 Artist - Blood Orange - 9.3/10 condition

    Mahogany Body
    Artist Grade Flamed Maple Top
    Solid Rosewood Neck and Fretboard
    BKP Emerald Pickup Set

This is a 2014 with the Artist Package (Artist Top, Rosewood Neck, Hybrid Hardware, Artist inlays) in Blood Orange. There’s a few extremely minor impressions/dings on in the clearcoat on the back, but it’s very clean overall.

    $3800

    Mayones Regius 7 - 9.3/10 condition

    Tone Enhance Mahogany Body (TEW)
    4A Figured Buckeye Burl Top
11 Piece Wenge, Mahogany, and Padauk Neck
    Ebony Fretboard
    25.4" Scale
    16" Radius
    Hipshot Gridlock Locking Tuners
    Schaller Hannes Bridge
    BKP Juggernaut Pickups

Easily one of the craziest looking tops I've seen on any guitar, let alone a Mayones. Most people looking at this already know that these guitars are at the top of the food chain, so I won't use flowery language to sell it. Its as nice as it looks. Conditionwise, there's a few things worth mentioning - the most obvious is the tiny chip in the wood on the back bottom side. Otherwise, there's a few very light and minor marks. The last few pictures are of what looks like scratches/lines impressed into the top, but its actually natural striations in the wood, and not an imperfection at all, just to be clear.

    Mahogany Body
    Artist Grade Flame Maple Top
    Indian Rosewood Neck
    Ebony Fretboard
    85/15 Pickups

Is this the perfect Custom 24, spec-wise? Might be. The rosewood neck + ebony fretboard combo is king, and makes an already great design aesthetically and functionally better. Aside from MAYBE some polishing swirls, this one is super clean.
