I bought a 13W pencil tip thinking it was enough, obviously not, didn't head up the solder at all  then I was walking around the markets and I picked up a 60W  waaay too much, well for me, the n00b anyway. And I didn't keep it clean so that one is useless now, 30W is ideal for guitar soldering. I'll be getting one of them soon. :yesway:

Hey, I've stained it a dark green.. too dark, its almost black  then I used danish oil to seal it. I couldn't find small amounts of tung oil at the hardware shop. and I've also done the same to the headstock so it matches :yesway: and I've got EMG's in it, 707 in the neck and 81-7 in the bridge.

It's all right. If you like that scooped PAF sound, it'll work pretty well for you. It doesn't have that same bite in the mids that the EMGs and Evo have.

The Blaze Custom is in my Squier Strat VII right now, but it was in my 7421 for most of the time I've had it. I do have a regular Blaze, and it's in my other 7421.

No worries, dude. Yeah, Akerfeldt's pretty funny when he starts talking. He did some funny shit when I saw them.

You don't know Blabbermouth? It was (as far as I know) an independent (and possibly the biggest) rock and metal news website. It was eventually bought by Roadrunner.

The quote in my signature is from one of the comments a user had posted in response to a news story. I thought the level of its stupidity was pretty funny.

Anyhow, Roadrunner's a pretty good 1-stop-shop for metal news. It's just got the same problem as YouTube; the user comments are usually either completely pointless, illiterate and unintelligible, irritatingly stupid, or overly sycophantic.

It holds up fine and the new owner never had any complaints.

I just used a rasp and a palm sander, pretty simple, oh and it's actually a RG7420MC.

Could you re-word that a little more clearly please?
